    'Take control' Mindset.

    As we approach the new year, most of us have begun writing down our new year's resolutions with the hope that we will stay motivated long enough to see the results. 

    However, every year we all know what happens. We work on our resolutions for the first two weeks of the year and then start to go easy on ourselves. We start missing workouts. We stopped working on our dreams. And worse, we fall back into our old bad habits. And the cycle repeats every single year.

    Whether we like it or not, only those with the 'take control' mindset can break free from this cycle. But what is the 'take control' mindset, and how can one form that mindset?

    The 'take control' mindset means being in control of your mind. It means having the discipline to pursue your goals even when you don't feel like it. It means switching off your emotions and getting the job done no matter how you feel. 

    And the beauty of it? It only takes one second to apply the 'take control' mindset. We are always a split decision away from something great. Don't feel like getting up early to hit the gym? Use that one second to channel our inner voice. That voice that is telling us to stop being lazy, to stop being soft. Channel that inner voice, and we will get fired up. 

    Stop relying on motivation and start building that discipline. Start building that 'take control' mindset.

    Message from the founder

    It's going to take a lot of work. We all know that. But here's the thing. You are not special. There are thousands, if not millions, of people that were in the same position as you are and have achieved the same goals you've set.

    I used to be super skinny and always found it hard to gain weight. I've always blamed it on my fast metabolism and used to accept the fate that I would be scrawny for the rest of my life. But then I realised I'm not special. So many other people in the same situation as me managed to gain weight, put on muscle and build a nice physique. And I started telling myself if they could do it, why can't I? 

    So I started developing that 'take control' mindset. Whenever I didn't feel like eating, I channelled that inner voice and asked myself, "what if this meal will make you gain that extra kilogram?" And in that split decision, you best believe I am already preparing my next meal. 

    I know it doesn't make sense. You can't gain an extra kilogram after a meal, but it doesn't have to make sense. It just has to make you take action. 

    Start building that 'take control' mindset, and you will see how much your life will change. I wish you the best of luck, and let's crush 2023 together!
